An Evening to Remember with Ken Forrester & Melrose Arch
In June, we stepped into the corporate world to offer a unique and enjoyable experience to the team at Melrose Arch and their delightful tenants. Set in the eclectic ambiance of the Fire & Ice Hotel, the midweek rendezvous became an evening to remember, showcasing a beautiful range of wines paired with a curated menu.
Our selection for the evening was nothing short of spectacular. As the centerpiece of our wine tasting event, we showcased a remarkable array of wines from renowned winemaker Ken Forrester. Our guests indulged in the sparkling effervescence of the Ken Forrester Sparklehorse 2019, Ken Forrester Terre Noire Chenin Blanc 2020, Ken Forrester Roussanne 2022, and rounding off the tasting was the rich and robust Ken Forrester The Gypsy Red Blend 2017.
In collaboration with the culinary team at the Fire & Ice Hotel, we crafted a menu that not only enhanced the flavours of the wines but also took our guests on a gastronomical adventure. Each course is perfectly paired with the wines, offering an insightful peek into the world of food and wine pairing.
The atmosphere was made even more special with a curated playlist that set the mood for the evening. Soft melodies filled the air, complementing the hum of conversation and all round good vibes.
While the event was about appreciating fine wines and delicious food, it was also an opportunity for our guests to connect with their colleagues in a relaxed, convivial setting. Throughout the evening, our guests learnt about the nuances of food and wine pairing, further deepening their appreciation for this delightful duo.
